The Vatican has entered the 21st century with the MISSIO app. It’s available for download in iOS and Android and connects ordinary people like you and me directly to the causes we’d like to support.  Here, watch this video – just 30 seconds long – to see how it works.

Folks, it doesn’t get much better than this.  Do you want to help rebuild the Holy Cross Seminary in India? Or would you prefer to help the Sisters of St. John the Baptist feed the children in Madagascar?  Now you can. Choose from any of many world wide endeavors to spread the love of Christ. You can donate to the causes that speak directly to you directly from your phone.

And, if that isn’t great in and of itself, The Pontifical Mission Societies is offering a contest. Join before tomorrow, February 2, 2017 and your name will be entered to win 2 tickets to Rome with an opportunity to meet Pope Francis. Winners will be announced the afternoon of the Feast of the Presentation and will accompany U. S. Directors of the Pontifical Mission Societies on their “MISSIO ad limina to the Threshold of the Apostles” visit to Rome in May 2017.
